Bits of Ashes
Collaboration with Skye Gao & Yinghou Wang
While we eventually rest in peace as ashes beneath a stone inscribed with words we left to the world, our digital selves do not seem to end properly. How would our digital death be announced? Instead of a plain obituary, could we be memorized as something unique and beautiful at the end?
Bits of Ash is a project that ceremonially concludes one's digital presence. With a sculptural representation made of digital ash, we aim to top one's digital presence with something abstract yet expressive.
